The Blueprint for Maryland's Future Accountability and Implementation Board (AIB) was appointed by Governor Hogan on October 1, 2021. The AIB is the central accountability mechanism for the Blueprint and is critical to the successful implementation of the law. The AIB will ensure that state and local government agencies (including local school systems and boards of education) spend their Blueprint funds in alignment with stated goals, create strong implementation plans, respond to challenges with expert advice, and more.
